Baya Mas Fina Prints
Baya Mas Fina Prints
“Baya Mas Fina” is a 18x24 Acryilc on Canvas painting is in a private collection but you can still order prints and functional wares with this design on it.
Baya Mas Fina - translates to the Sweetest Berry and is the first in my Representation Matters series. I started with a regular fluid acrylic pour back in 2018. At first I did not like the way it came out and it sat in a corner of the studio for over a year before I touched it again. I used a negative painting technique to frame the silhouette. My intent with this series has been to capture the beauty of the women of color in my life - the family, the friends and all the loved ones who have shaped me and my passion for justice.
Please contact me for custom sizes and visit my Fine Art America Page for this design on yoga mats, notebooks, phone cases, and more.
A note about prints:
Archival Matte Paper Print (AMP): A fine art paper, also known as Moab Lasal Photo Matte. Its an economical favorite and standard for all my prints. It features a smooth surface, heavy weight (230 g, 9.5-mil), neutral white, matte paper engineered for accurate color reproduction that provides high contrast and high-resolution output. This paper is acid-free making it archival quality.
Giclee - This is a thick (21-mil) heavy weight (310g) paper with the luxurious style of traditional artists' papers. It has a natural-white, matte finish with a textured watercolor feel.
Canvas - This is a gallery wrapped artist grade canvas print. This will come with a black backing and hardware attached and ready to hang. Its 1.25” in depth
If you want to frame one of my paintings, I would recommend the giclee or AMP. If you are a serious art collector, you can’t go wrong with the giclee. It’s classic.
If however, you want to hang something that looks like the actual painting, I highly recommend the canvas print. It’s a beautiful professional quality and the prices are often better than the paper prints.
